Blues Alley is a Washington, DC live music hot bed. On my first experience with the venue, I must say that the artist (Pieces of a Dream) was unexpectedly enjoyable. On the other hand - the enjoyment stopped there.

The food was just ok, nothing to remember for the most part. For a jazz club, one would think that the bar would be the main focus for the establishment. Unfortunately for Blues Alley, their drink selection (namely wine) was far under par - the equivalent of buying a bottle of wine for $9.99 at your local grocery store. The restaurant was over-filled with tables to the point of discomfort for people eating dinner. Unfortunately, Blues Alley seems to lost it's charm that it once had and has now decided to capitalize on the power of the musician to bring people to the venue. They have somewhat lacklustre staffing - who are unable to squeeze in between tables without bumping into chairs.

So here are my ratings:

Service: 3/10
Food Taste: 3/10
Food Presentation: 4/10
Atmosphere: 5/10
TOTAL: 15/40 (F)
